Thirty-six years in Aruvithura

St. Alphonsa was started in 1990 by the Franciscan Clarist Congregation Educational Society, Bharananganam, a charitable society registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 12 of 1955.

This year 931 students attend, 470 boys and 461 girls, taught by 46 teachers. Classes I to V use Macmillan and Unity textbooks, and Classes VI to XII follow NCERT. Nine school buses carry students to and from the surrounding towns.
